One of the Netherlands largest operating companies, Janshen-Hahnraths, has signed a letter of intent with the mental care organisation Mondriaan, to enhance their co-operation in the war against gambling addiction.

J-H, celebrating 60 years in the industry this year and owner of a chain of 40 arcade-casinos, was responding to the legal obligation placed upon all Dutch operators to help prevent gambling addiction. That responsibility includes monitoring playing behaviour and intervening when necessary and help with players’ contact with professional care.
Mondriaan holds training sessions for employees of J-H and the two organisations meet regularly to consult on ways to improve the operator’s prevention policy.
