Eid Al Adha begins on Saturday of this week and will run for four days of holidays for Dubai residents during which most malls will extend their shopping hours and many will continue to extend their operating times for as much as ten days.
Majid Al Futtaim malls, home to Magic Planet, will remain open until 1am and Emaar’s Dubai Mall will not close until 2am between August 8 and August 17.
Across Dubai it is a similar story, with the Ibn Battuta Mall, with its Fun City location, opening for longer hours and at the Festival City Mall fireworks will be added to the increased opening hours.
Typical of the extra effort being introduced is the special Play Doh activity being installed in the Dubai Marina Mall for the period.
