The organiser, International Expo Consults announced that the show will now be held from June 16-18 at the same venue, the World Trade Centre in Dubai.

The original dates were March 23-25. DonnaBelle Reyes, administration manager for IEC said that the action had been taken in response to demands from exhibitors and visitors. “We have taken this decision in the wake of the current global Covid-19 situation where people from many countries are unable to travel abroad.

“This move is in the best interests and safety of the entire FEC and theme park industry, as we would want to host a highly productive DEAL 2020 show for everyone.”

The major social event coinciding with the exhibition is the MENALAC Awards and Gala and the LEA Conference, organised by the trade association. The general secretary, Prakash Vivekanand, has confirmed that the Awards Night would be moved to fresh dates to fit in with DEAL. “I think that this was a sensible decision to take in the interests of the industry,” he said.
