US restaurant and amusement operator Dave & Buster's has opened a new location in Orlando, Florida.

Officially opening its doors on July 18, the company’s latest location is set in the heart of the destination’s bustling tourism corridor on International Drive and covers 40,000sq.ft of dining, entertainment and gaming space.

"We’re delighted to open the doors to one of Orlando’s premier destinations for dining, entertainment and just plain fun," says Gary Passardi, Dave & Buster’s regional operations director. "Like all Dave & Buster’s locations, guests here can unwind in a casual, yet upscale atmosphere amid the energy of our signature midway games and dining options. There’s something for everyone."

More than 170 interactive simulator and redemption games will be on offer, including Adrenaline Amusements’ Touch FX Fruit Ninja game, in a 46ins screen format. Also included in the mix is the ever-popular Guitar Hero and NASCAR Racing, along with other classic arcade staples.

Designed by Dallas-based Good Fulton and Farrell, with Boston firm Shawmut Design and Construction acting as general contractor, this latest Dave & Buster’s location aims to raise the bar with its modern design and features an elevated dining and entertainment venue one floor above street level.
