Third quarter results for the US amusement chain Dave & Busters’ show its total revenues increased by 6.1 per cent in that time.

“We delivered six per cent revenue growth in the third quarter driven by strong new store performance and are encouraged by our progress advancing our near-term priorities to drive improved performance and sustainable shareholder value,” said Brian Jenkins, CEO. “We are successfully executing our plan to drive growth and position the company for long-term success despite comp sales headwinds from increased competition. We will continue to manage the pace of new store growth to maximise returns and focus on advancing our store revitalisation efforts.”
The business also revealed that it is opening a new location in Shenandoah, Texas, on January 20. The 40,000sq.ft location will bring over 200 jobs to the area.
