Bacta president elect Joseph Cullis has met UK Secretary of State for the DCMS Lisa Nandy at Westminster to urge her to bring into effect the recommendations in the white paper.

Notably, he pressed for the reform of the 80/20 rule and the introduction of cashless play. Cullis directed the MP’s attention to the vital role that arcades play in high streets and at the seaside and invited her to visit an FEC over the summer.
At the same time, the current Gambling Minister, Baroness Twycross, has visited an AGC in London.
The association reported: “In what was her first visit to an AGC, we were able to demonstrate to the minister the steps that Bacta members take to protect their customers and the visit is the latest in a series of constructive meetings Bacta has had with the minister.”
