UK distributor Crown Direct is the first of last year's exhibitors to re-book its EAG Expo stand for the 2011 show, which will be held from January 25 to 27.

Dean Harding, Crown Direct managing director, commented: “We are currently experiencing a very difficult UK coin-op market place, so we have to be careful when planning our marketing and sales strategy for the future. EAG in its inaugural year produced strong sales for Crown and Deith, specifically on the family and novelty equipment we supply. I am convinced that as we look ahead to 2011, EAG will be an even stronger event. We are pleased to be the first exhibitor to sign up to the biggest and best amusement and gaming exhibition in the UK.”

EAG Expo, presented by trade association BACTA, was launched in June 2009 with the first event taking place only seven months later at the ExCel Centre in London. Industry response to the new event was exceptional and the first ever EAG was heralded a success by both exhibitors and visitors.

More than 110 companies demonstrated the latest products, which were seen by over 4,900 visitors from around the world. In just one year EAG established itself as a must do event on the global event calendar.

Looking forward to EAG 2011 the company’s chairman, Martin Burlin, said: “ We are thrilled that our industry has a successful show again and one that it can call its own. I would like to thank Dean for his continuing support, for being the first to commit to EAG 2011 and for getting us off to such a fantastic start.

“We have to take care of stands of this size first so we can plan the hall layout properly but the new floor plan will be sent to everyone next week so we can begin preparations in earnest. We really believe that EAG can build on last year’s success and deliver an even better service and better results for our customers. We have some fantastic ideas and with support like this I am sure that we will deliver them.”
