A new Japanese-themed crane arcade, Mirai Arcade, has opened in Orlando, Florida, US.

Clawcade

The new arcade, located in a shopping mall, is a short drive from the centre of Orlando and held its grand opening on January 25.

To mark the occasion, the arcade ran a promotion involving complimentary raffle like tickets with a US$50 credit purchase. The Kuji tickets each correlate to a prize, with higher value prizes harder to come across, although every ticket wins something.

Prizes ranged from 20 credits to plushies, keychains, anime figures or the grand prize of a Gundam figure.

Mirai Arcade’s crane games include a range of items for guests to win, including blind boxes, toys, plushies and collectibles.

Across the entertainment venue’s social media were images of guests holding the prizes they won captioned “Our memories from our grand opening! We are so grateful for everyone’s support.”

Memberships are available for the arcade, with guests able to purchase either a gold or black tier membership. Each option has different perks, including bonus credits on signing up and extra credits on each further purchase, with the higher tier also including early access to products and other discounts.

The ‘clawcade’ is open seven days a week, with longer hours of operation on Friday and Saturday.
