The US silicone mask manufacturer Composite Effects has released a line of masks based on Universal’s classic monsters including Frankenstein, The Creature from the Black Lagoon and The Mummy.

Owing to the number of operators now investing in immersive attractions, the company exhibited the offering at the IAAPA Expo in Orlando, Florida, having originally unveiled it at the San Diego Comic-Con in July.

Brett Morris, general manager, said: “Universal’s Classic monsters have been imprinted on the human psyche since they were released. Their influence has reached millions, if not billions, of people over many decades and I am not immune, so having the opportunity to sculpt some of them and revisit these classic films has been a wonderful privilege.”
