Operators in Colorado, US, have formed their own trade association – the Colorado Amusement and Music Operators (CAMO), says US trade magazine Replay.

Colorado trade body

The state’s amusement operators had a similar organisation some years ago.

It held its inaugural meeting on June 10 at the Game Exchange a Colorado supplier and about 20 companies were represented. The Game Exchange’s Bob Burnham was elected president, with Nick Sunday of Alpine Video & Pinball as vice-president and July Mehle of BMW Billiards as secretary/treasurer.

The meeting was told that the chances are not good of an early restart to their businesses after the Covid-19 pandemic. They do not expect to be permitted to restart until September 5, ready for Labor Day on the 7th. Casinos have been permitted to reopen, a major upset for FEC operators.
