Seven of the UK's leading manufacturers and distributors are gearing up for their collective debut at the Euro Attractions Show to be held at London's Olympia from September 27-29.

AMG Leisure, Crown Direct, Electrocoin, Embed Playsafe, Harry Levy Amusements, Namco Europ and Sega Amusements will now join plush supplier Whitehouse Leisure and distributor UDC, which had already booked space at the show earlier in the year, having visited the EAS in Rome last year.

UDC’s Michael Green told InterGame: "We recognise the importance of EAS for the amusement parks throughout Europe. Mark Horwood and I went to the show in Rome last year and immediately decided to participate in this year’s show as we were so impressed with the diverse number of exhibitors for this market sector. EAS will not only give us the opportunity of meeting many of the parks, but also a shop window of new product for the home market as we already know many UK park and FEC operators are planning to visit the show."

Swan Events, organiser of the EAG Expo, has secured an area in the show’s National Hall for these most recent coin-op signings, which join over 275 other exhibitors representing every sector of the attractions industry.

John Brennan of Namco Europe said: "EAS provides a platform to display current games along with products that will become available in the coming months. Combining the amusements and parks industries provides a unique opportunity to showcase new products and obtain feedback that will prove invaluable moving into 2012."

The new coin-op zone promises to be a vibrant area, packed with the latest games and technology destined to make their mark on the show.

Electrocoin’s Kevin Weir has chosen EAS to promote Gamewax’s Go Go Grand Prix, a four-player slot car game: "There was a great reaction to Go Go Grand Prix at the recent Park Avenue event and we’ve already completely sold the first shipment. EAS has a track record of attracting the industry’s decision makers and we’re very much looking forward to meeting them."

Mark Sowray, director of AMG Leisure, confirmed that the company would also be exhibiting new products: "We view exhibitions as launch pads for new games and will be showing some exciting new developments for the FEC and AGC markets," he said.

For Embed Playsafe the parks and attractions sector is very much home territory. Managing director David Stenning and his team will be demonstrating their data capture and machine monitoring systems.

Commenting on these recent signings by Swan Events, Derek Horwood, also of UDC, added: "We are eagerly anticipating the EAS and are encouraged to see other major players in the UK market following us in exhibiting at this show at Olympia in September. We committed very early on for the EAS directly with IAAPA Europe and we think it will provide a superb showcase in the absence of the Preview Show this year."
