Italian amusement machine designer Elmac is doing its bit to help save the world from its plastic pollution with the new Recycaps product.
During the extended lockdown, which has forced the company to close its doors temporarily, Elmac has developed the Recycaps machine to recycle empty plastic capsules.
The prize capsules taken from the popular vending machines in arcades, FECs, parks and shopping malls are inserted into the machine, which recognises that it is a capsule and issues reward tickets or a receipt.
The company said that while the machine was developed to handle the discarded capsules, it can be adapted to take any other kind of refuse.
Recycaps comes with automated instructions in different languages to help the customer.
