The US industry has lost another of its veterans. Art Warner, who founded Coin Concepts and was responsible for several notable redemption games, has died in hospital at the age of 79.

Warner, who is survived by his wife, Joyce and three sons, Drew, Lonny and Gary, died on June 30 in St Peter’s Hospital, North Jersey. The funeral service was July 2.

He was a successful employee at Betson Enterprises where he worked with Jerry Gordon and Neal Rosenberg on sales. He founded Coin Concepts and developed a number of midway ticket redemption games, including Toss ‘em, Ol’ McDonald's and Pig Race rolldown.
