As part of its lockdown support programme, cashless systems supplier Sacoa presented its first virtual meet-up for operators.

Named "Coffee Talks", the event was an informal chat with clients. The first one was a Spanish edition and the company hosted three guests, all well-recognised figures from the amusement industry internationally, Miguel Angel Notario, director of Sould Park in Spain; Raúl Vazquez, general manager of City Park in Colombia and Martin Pagura, chairman of the sub-committee of security for LATAM and Caribe for IAAPA.
Pol Mochkovsky, CEO of Sacoa International, was the host for the event that saw each participant speaking about the different stages they face during the pandemic. Sould Park reopened in June but faced closures from the second wave of infections in Spain. City Park began reopening in October with many protocols. Mochkovsky said that the Sacoa FECs in Argentina remain closed due to prohibitions.
The meeting discussed relevant protocols and probed how Sacoa’s products may help reduce the degree of physical contact needed; the ratio of cash used to electronic money and how it has changed; and the different changes needed to comply with guidelines. The company said that another "Coffee Talks" will be held shortly.
