Clip ‘n Climb unveiled its latest climbing challenge with the launch of Velocity at IAAPA Expo Europe in Vienna, Austria.

Velocity, at its hardest level it, is designed to bring more climbing techniques into Clip ‘n Climb centres by the introduction of side pulls and undercut holds to help scale the challenge.

It has also been designed to engage participants of all ages and skill levels with the use of additional foot holds, giving three different routes up the challenge. These multiple routes allow the climber to choose a level that suits them, increasing the difficulty at each visit if they choose, keeping the challenge interesting and bringing them back time and time again.

Danny Hodgson, commercial manager at Clip ‘n Climb said: “We’re well known for our inclusivity, and proud to say that Clip ‘n Climb is a real family activity. We continue to create climbs that are suitable for all ages and abilities. This also allows centres to attract a broader audience, from kids to adults, ensuring that their facilities remain family-friendly destinations.

“We’ve also included a timer which, unlike our other speed climbs, is about personal improvement rather than competing against others, to foster a sense of personal achievement and growth. This self-improvement aspect can also lead to climbers returning for more, ensuring repeat business and a loyal customer base.”
