The biggest Spanish gaming machine company, Cirsa, has revealed revenues of €1.7bn in 2008 and an operating profit of €193m, an increase of 17.2 per cent.
Casino operating showed results up 10 per cent following growth in Central and South America. In the Spanish street market, the company holds a share of 53 per cent. It sold over 23,000 AWPs in the year. Its operating results - including the nearly 7,000 machines it runs in Italy - were up eight per cent. Cirsa opened 20 new arcades in Spain in the year and now has 122 arcades.
