Chessington World of Adventure has submitted plans to build a new water park.

Currently one of the UKs biggest theme parks, Chessington intends to build on its existing park with an overhaul of its water park.

Newly proposed attractions include a wave spa, infinity pools, water slides, an aqua play area, animal displays, splash pods, an adventure river and a safari beach within the water park.

The proposals have reported to have received 85 per cent support from residents.
