The award-winning Cheeky Monkeys kids’ play concept that was born in the United Arab Emirates, is spreading to the US.
The company, headed by CEO Shazad Ali Abdullah, operates with the one-to-eight years age group, offering play structures coupled with community gatherings for parents.
There are now 27 locations, some of them franchised, in six countries and there are ambitious expansion plans. Abdullah told us that he has four venues currently under construction in Saudi Arabia, due to come on-stream in the next five months, plus four in the planning stages. He has four planned to open in the US next year and an additional location planned in the UAE.
