Camelot to become 350 houses

The former Camelot theme park at Charnock Richard in the UK may be turned into a major housing development.

The site, near Chorley in Lancashire, is close to the M6 motorway and to the major conurbations of Manchester and Liverpool, yet closed down in 2012 and has been derelict since.

Now there is a plan to build 350 houses on the site, half of which would be "affordable," and the creation of a new community hub by Story Homes.
