A UK burger brand has branched out into the world of location-based entertainment, opening an FEC at a shopping centre near Manchester, UK.
Archie’s Atomic has opened at Trafford Palazzo after a £3m investment and months of work.
The venue includes a 5,000sq.ft roller rink, decked out in the brand’s iconic shade of pink, complete with a disco ball and other touches.
The venue also includes an arcade which has been outfitted by Sega, with basketball games, crane games and driving simulators.
Elsewhere there is a 270sq.ft private gaming vault and dedicated party spaces.
The space will also include an Archie’s Diner, serving the brand’s full menu of burger, fries and milkshakes.
Originally founded in 2010, the brand now has nine sites across four cities, with Archie’s Atomic being its first venture into entertainment.
The team behind the brand say that they’re now setting their sights on other shopping centres across the UK.
Nuno Lopes, operations director at Archie’s, said: “Following a hugely successful soft launch period, it’s great to finally be welcoming people into Archie’s Atomic.
"Our project team has truly outdone itself with the fit-out of this space, and it feels like a huge step forward for us as a brand.”
