Brunswick Bowling has entered into an agreement with Europe's leading sports entertainment group Eurosport, to broadcast the final of the Brunswick Euro Challenge 2010 tournament live on Eurosport 2 television channel.
The live coverage will be the first of its kind for a European bowling tournament and the agreement with Eurosport marks another milestone in Brunswick’s quest for the popularisation of bowling worldwide.
"Eurosport clearly recognises the increasing importance of bowling on the overall sports landscape and the large number of followers this sport enjoys," said Brunswick Bowling Products president Brent Perrier.
Additional to the live broadcast, Eurosport 2 will air at least two more re-runs in the weeks following the live coverage. Furthermore Eurosport Asia-Pacific will cover the BEC 2010 final several times on its television outlet.
