Brent Sales/Bandai Namco’s John Crompton and Geoff Spencer are on the third leg of a tour, which has seen them take at 45ft truck around the coast of the UK.

The truck has already made stops in Skegness, Clacton, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Felixtowe on its first leg. The second part of the tour took in Weston super Mare, Bream, Woolacombe, Ilfracombe, St Ives, Penzance, Paignton, and Dawlish.
Now the team is touring Southend, the Isle of Sheppey, Margate, Weymouth and Brighton, with more to come.
“We do this every year,” said John Crompton. “It is a very, very valuable exercise. We can fit a lot of games into the truck and we are effectively a mobile exhibition. Customers really appreciate the fact that we come to them and we have had a very positive reaction to this year’s machines.”
In the truck this year are Cromptons’ modular Coaster pusher, 5 Star Redemption’s Jungle Jackpot and Jennison’s Space Ballz redemption games, Namco’s Deadstorm Pirates, Dead Heat and Crazy Typhoon, Raw Thrills’ Dirty Drivin’ and Super Bikes 2 video games, Namco’s Barbercut Lite and Apple Industries’ Face Place photo booth – plus a range of prizes, including Pac-Man plush.
“If I was to pick one game that has done particularly well during the tour, it would have to be Jungle Jackpot. This game has performed so well that we have had repeat orders,” Crompton said.
