Bowling venue operator Bowlmor AMF has contracted designer Creative Works to install laser tag attractions at three locations across south-east US.

Its brands AMF, Bowlmor and Bowlero had attractions installed in the states of Virginia, Florida and Georgia respectively.
Creative Works designed the laser tag arenas at the Georgia and Florida locations to look like urban battle zones, featuring broken concrete walls, steel girders and smoke-filled city skylines. Palm trees and local street names on signs were included in the Florida location.
The attraction in Virginia is stylised as a military outpost in a luminescent forest. Inspired by the sci-fi film Avatar, this theme has fluorescent plants and trees, glowing foliage and 14ft robots that tower over the arena.
“These new attractions mark a trend that has been continuing for the last decade in the bowling industry,” the company said.
“Traditional bowling centres have been removing lanes to accommodate new attractions like laser tag arenas, arcades, high ropes courses and other games. These attractions enhance the experience and keep customers in the doors longer, which means more revenue.”
