Traditionally the bowling sector has been very resilient to recession and this time round, it would seem the situation is no different.
Speaking at the ASI show last week, Gary Smith of Brunswick Bowling, told InterGame: “People take more local trips in times of a recession, which is where the bowling location benefits as people still want to be entertained.”
As well as riding the storm, quite successfully, in the US, Brunswick has an international presence and is apparently in the final stages of completing a Virtual Bowling installation at Sega Republic in the UAE.
