The Funworld Bowling Centre, located in the city of Limerick, is upgrading its bowling systems.
Upgrades to the historic venue, which has now been open for 25 years, began on February 20. Live 95 FM reports that the venue's bowling lanes will be closed until March 15 when upgrades are complete, though its arcade, cafe and pool are still open for business.
The new bowling systems update will include state-of-the-art Brunswick bowling lanes pinsetters and an interactive scoring system, with automatic bumpers for younger players.
The team behind the popular location said, "We would like to inform all our valued customers over the many years of Funworld's operating in Limerick. We will be reopening… just in time for St Patrick's day."
