Entertainment Solutions provider Boomerang Digital has confirmed its purchase of Playsafe Systems from the Veitch family.
It is the third acquisition by Boomerang, after the takeover of ISD and IHL following its launch in December 2023.
Ian Fuller will remain as managing director and will work closely with the Boomerang team and the Playsafe customer base, while the 17-strong Playsafe team will also join the Boomerang talent pool.
Boomerang group chief executive Andrew Ludlow (pictured) said: “Expanding the Boomerang portfolio to include machine data management solutions and paystations accelerates our ability to provide the industry with a fully comprehensive and integrated range of products and solutions.
“Creating a platform for technology and software convergence will not only provide our customers with added efficiencies but also lead to enhanced consumer engagement and to raise the bar in terms of the quality of the end-user experience.”
Ludlow said that the company wants to build on Playsafe’s heritage and will invest in development.
