UK operator Bob Rudd has selected MEI’s Cashflow 9500 Series with DES encryption as the new standard coin mechanism for all of its 3,000 plus gaming and amusement machines.
The Cashflow 9500 has an extremely high acceptance rate, extremely secure fraud defence technology and low cost of ownership. For maximum machine uptime, it has been designed for easy maintenance and quick upgrades without any changes to hardware. As Bob Rudd updates its gaming and amusement inventory, MEI will assist with DES encryption upgrades for the highest level of security, as well as a coin update for the new 5p and 10p coins.
“We plan to update our entire estate with the 9500 Series coin mechanism,” said Kevin Astley, group service manager. “We are very pleased we have negotiated a deal with MEI for the DES upgrade and coin update. It is about time operators did not have to front the costs for every necessary upgrade.”
