The Blackpool Illuminations backroom team has played a part in the dazzling new effects in London’s Leicester Square Gardens.
The Lightworks team, whichis based at Blackpool Airport, produced eight neon pieces for the London park in collaboration with renowned artist Chila Kumari Singh Burman.
Chila invited the Blackpool team to produce the neon works when she was commissioned by the Art Of London event to feature in the annual Art After Dark programme.
It was a three-day event and was held just a few days ahead of Blackpool’s own switch-on of its Lightpool festival.
