A sub-group dedicated to overseeing the interests of the gaming machine industry in the UK, has been set up by Business in Sport and Leisure (BISL), which now represents the majority of gaming machines in the country.

Following news of another high-profile recruit in major operating company Sceptre Leisure, the organisation announced that it has established the Gaming Machine Sub-Group. This is a subsidiary body to its Gambling Working Group. It has the benefit of being able to focus specifically on machine issues, with the purpose of providing specialist consideration of all aspects of the law, politics and activities of gaming machines.

Sixteen companies are represented on the sub-group, including most of the biggest names in gaming machine operation and supply, including Rank, Mecca, Barcrest/Games Media, Ladbrokes, Gala Coral, Fair City, William Hill, Inspired Gaming, Praesepe, Gamestec and Bell Fruit Games.
