The UK government has backed down on plans to ban smoking in outdoor hospitality in its new Tobacco and Vapes Bill, which may have impacted beer gardens at pubs and therefore have some degree of impact on Category C machine usage.
The amusement and gaming industry in the country would have supported an exclusion for hospitality in any new restrictions, confirms Bacta this week.
As far as vaping is concerned, there remains no hard and fast official ruling on their use indoors, so it remains left to pubs and arcades to decide whether they will permit vaping indoors.
