BANDAI NAMCO Amusement Europe had possibly its busiest and most successful IAAPA yet in Florida, US, last week.

Stand 1000 had a host of new machines and products that ensured it was well populated throughout the Orlando event.

From BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment came a prototype of Jumbo Jumpin’ Jackpot. Building on the success of the original Jumpin’ Jackpot skipping game, this new unit is 50 per cent bigger and brought up to date with the latest LED technology and linkable game play.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a four-player brawler displayed on a 55ins screen, featuring revamped character graphics and voices. “The customer reaction to this title was incredible at IAAPA,” said James Anderson, sales and commercial director at BNAE.

Other highlights of the BNAE stand included Rabbids Hollywood from Adrenaline Amusements. This four-player shooting game is designed as a centerpiece attraction as it features a giant 120ins projection screen.

From Andamiro there was SpongeBob Soccer Stars, which features a football lever that allows the player to kick the ball and attempt to score against Squidward in goal. “This follows on from the success of the SpongeBob Pineapple Arcade closed-loop pusher from Andamiro, which has been one of our best-selling titles of recent years,” added Anderson.

Finally, BNAE enjoyed encouraging feedback from customers about the AI Solve VR product, We Play VR. The final version of Alien Invasion was on show for customers to try out as well as a prelude to the third game for the attraction, Clock Tower.

“This year’s IAAPA was probably the busiest we have ever encountered. I have never known the stand be so busy - the whole team had an excellent show,” concluded Anderson.
