The incoming US President, Joe Biden, went out of his way to mention bars and restaurants as having been "slammed" by the pandemic in a speech on Friday.
Biden referred to small businesses as "the engine of our economic strength" and the bars and restaurants - home to many coin-operated amusement machines - as very much a part of that.
Biden announced that he planned to give financial support to small businesses. He also warned that any businesses that abused the current financial help, the PPP (Paycheck Protection Program), would be punished.
