Specialist electronic point-of-sale technology supplier A Bet A Technology has agreed a deal allowing Betway, sponsors of Premier League Darts, to offer betting facilities at each venue.
A Bet A has provided the bookmaker with a portable EPOS system, delivered via a betting shop or handheld devices, that captures both on- and off-site wagers.
Jason Hardman, A Bet A operations manager, said: “We’re delighted Betway has adopted our EPOS system, which has proved to be both a flexible and robust performer at live events.
“It delivers a far better user experience to punters who can now enjoy multiple markets on numerous events without leaving their seat.”
The system utilises Bluetooth or wi-fi access and combines fixed EPOS terminals with tablet devices connected to printers that allow cashiers to hand out betting slips on the move.
