Another large games room has been completed successfully by major US distributor Betson.
The venue is at the tenpin bowling centre Cypress Lanes in Winter Haven, Florida, US. Seventy-one pieces of equipment were introduced into the centre and laid out to a design agreed with the operator at the location.
The arcade takes up over half of the 10,000 square feet of the 40-lane bowling centre and features the latest games, including Nitro Trucks, Extreme Air FX, Mario Kart DX, Tomb Raider, Ultra Moto VR and Virtual Rabbids - The Big One.
Cypress Lanes owner Michael Ducat said: “Betson is a great company to work with and I have been doing so for many years with multi-locations. Their follow-through and hands-on approach makes me very comfortable with our relationship.”
The venue has a strong representation of redemption games, including Connect 4 Hoops, Crossy Road, Hyperpitch, Ice Man, Jurassic Park and a range of merchandisers.
In compliance with the new regulations, the games are sanitised regularly throughout the day, with sanitising stations on the game floor, signage and announcements. Everyone - staff and players - must wear masks.
