Virtuix has sold nearly 40 Omni Arena units, breaking its previous sales record and making Omni Arena a leading VR attraction at US family entertainment centres and the world’s top location-based esports platform.

At the show, Virtuix unveiled Elite Force, its latest game for Omni Arena, in the style of the popular video game Call of Duty. Virtuix also announced a partnership with Hownd, a foot traffic generation platform, to drive repeat player traffic to Omni Arena operators.

“Given the performance of Omni Arena at our Orlando venue, we decided to purchase a second system for our new location opening in Katy, Texas,” said Eddie Hamann, managing member of Andretti Indoor Karting and Games. “Omni Arena has been well received by our guests and has certainly exceeded our revenue expectations.”

“We’re thrilled about the success of Omni Arena,” said Jan Goetgeluk, founder and CEO of Virtuix. “Omni Arena is the result of five years of hard work and incorporating customer feedback. We believe it’s the most complete package on the market, with the highest repeat play.”

Omni Arena is a full-body, competitive virtual reality attraction for up to four players. Motion platforms inside the attraction enable players to walk and run around inside video games. Guests can compete for top spots on leaderboards and win a share of a $100,000 esports prize pool sponsored by Virtuix and HP.
