US-based tenpin bowling supplier QubicaAMF reports this week that there are now 350 locations globally using its new BES X (Bowler Entertainment System) and that over 30 million games have been played on the system world-wide.
The company, which also produces mini bowling that is popular in arcades and FECs, reports that 6,300 lanes now have BES X software, which offers a range of family-orientated novelty games and scoring systems.
Locations, says the company, are reporting increases in total revenues of 20 per cent, more repeat business and longer customer visits and these improvements have come within just one year of the system being utilised on a large scale.
It reports that it is also developing new animation sets to add to its popular YouToons environment, which will be introduced at the forthcoming Bowl Expo.
