US manufacturer Zooom Studios has acquired Barron Games.

Originally founded by Greg Bacorn, the company was reportedly set to close before joining Zooom.
As part of the deal, Barron Games will continue to operate under its brand name but with a revamped logo, new staff and a redesigned four-player air hockey table named Open Ice that will make its debut at this year’s IAAPA Expo in Florida, US, in November.
Glen Kramer, founder of Zooom Studios, said: “Greg is, in my mind, an air hockey guru.
“His plethora and years of experience really shine with air hockey, and we look forward to working cohesively with Greg in any way we can. His guidance will be instrumental in the transition.”
