Tibidabo theme park opened its new ride, Merlí, on July 27.

Merli

Approximately 500m above sea level and based in the Collserola hills, the new freefall ride is 52m in height and offers a 360-degree view of Barcelona before dropping thrill-seekers back to the ground.

The first passengers on the wand-shaped ride included 24 selected members of the TibiClub, a member scheme a park, as well as Barcelona's mayor, Jaume Collboni.

Merlí is the main 2024 addition to the park, but Tibidabo has added other experiences, including a new horror experience, the 666 Space.
