IF you run a bar, tavern or pub - same thing, different names - the provision of drinks alone has never been enough.

In the majority of cases hostelries cannot exist solely as “a drinker’s pub.” We’ve heard the term, but rarely does it actually apply - there’s nearly always something else. That something else is often some form of entertainment to accompany the alcohol, whether it is an AWP machine, a jukebox, a pool table, quiz game, big screen TV with sport, quiz nights, karaoke nights, live bingo games, whatever; the location has decided that it needs some form of diversification for its customers to be entertained.
