Bandai Namco Amusement Europe has celebrated the success of its Tom & Jerry Kitchen Chaos air hockey table, ahead of the iconic cartoon’s 85th anniversary.
The game includes the company's multi-puck feature, which first premiered with the release of Pac-Man Smash in 2012.
Bandai Namco reports that demand for the game has been high across the UK and Europe, while it has almost sold out in the US, delivering earnings 50 per cent higher than standard air hockey machines.
A leading cruise line has also placed an order for the game, to feature it across its fleet.
Steph Jones, digital design manager at Bandai Namco, said: “When it came to selecting an IP for a game as challenging, fun and chaotic as this multi-puck air hockey table, Tom & Jerry was the perfect choice.
“Warner Bros. informed us of the iconic pair’s upcoming 85th anniversary in 2025 and with solid brand credentials worldwide, it was a dream to design an amusement product featuring this mischievous pair. It has been extremely rewarding to see how well the game has been performing since its launch.”
