The largest mall entertainment facility in Bahrain, with rollercoasters and an ice rink, will be included in the new Mall of Dilmuni, soon to open.
The new FEC, Funscape World, is designed by Dubai-based ASI Design Solutions and will have four distinct zones. An ice zone will have a rink open all year round, while Funscape Play will be 2,210sq.m of coasters, bumper cars and other rides. Funscape Adventured will be an area for children designed for intensive activity and will house a zip-line, climbing frames and rope-based activities. Funscape Sport will cover 1,848sq.m of basketball courts, indoor sports halls and a robo-goalkeeper challenge.
The Dilmunia Mall Development Company is behind the project, that covers 26,754sq.m in all, standing on Dilmunia Island and will cost 52m Bahraini dinars (US$138m). It will open in October.
