There is growth in FECs in Australia. Last year saw three new locations opened in Melbourne and a very successful start-up for a new Timezone in Charlestown, New South Wales.

Games are always supported by other attractions in Aussie FECs, in these cases either laser tag or dodgem cars, but ticket and prize redemption remain the larger single earner. Bucking the international trends, Aussie players still like pinball and each location has four or five new models installed.
