The process of changing the branding of the 30 AMF Bowling centres across Australia to the new name of Zone Bowling, has been completed.

AMF

The name-change is part of a process of merging the bowling company with the other interests owned by The Entertainment and Education Company.

Last year, major Australian company Ardent Leisure sold its Australian and New Zealand bowling and entertainment business, comprising AMF Bowling, Kingpin and Playtime to the newly-formed TEEG, a combination with TimeZone Entertainent and its 200 FECs across Australasia and Southeast Asia.

While AMF in Australia has been renamed Zone Bowling, the locations in New Zealand have been rebranded Xtreme Entertainment. TEEG’s backing is from a partnership of private equity investor Quadrant and TimeZone’s Group’s Steinberg family.
