The dinner was held prior to the opening day of the Saudi Entertainment and Amusement Expo that closed after a successful run this week.

Attia, a well-known and respected industry figure, joins after having spent many years leading Al Othaim Leisure and Tourism’s various brands and projects in the amusement and entertainment sector across the MENA region.

Kid’s Space boasts soft play and trampoline chain Billy Beez, the Saudi Arabian franchise for KidZania and up-and-coming FEC brand Octo in its portfolio.

“I enjoyed many happy years and have made many great friends at Al Othaim and I believe I leave it in a very healthy position,” Attia told InterGame. “Kid’s Space is a new challenge and the opportunity to grow the various brands across KSA is one that I am relishing.”

Attia delivered a presentation at the SEA Expo outlining the plans he has in his new role at the helm of Kid’s Space, including the expansion of the various iterations of Octo. “We have ambitious plans for the different types of Octo locations. Zone, City, Bowling, Laser Tag and the expansion of our snow parks, are all included in our vision for the next few years.”
