Legislation that would change the state of Arkansas’ policy on the value of coin-op machine prizes has passed the first hurdle.

A bill to change the state’s policy was unanimously approved in the Arkansas House at the end of March, the Associated Press reports.
The state presently only allows prizes of up to $5 in a single-play game or, in games where tickets are accumulated, a value of $12.50.
If the bill is approved by the state Senate, it is expected to prompt a return to the state for entertainment chain Dave and Buster’s, whose founders met in Little Rock in the 1970s.
