US-based photo booth manufacturer Face Place – part of the Apple Industries group – is going to produce a photo booth specifically for the Asian market.

That market is distinctly different in its cultural tastes to that of the West, says Apple CEO Allen Weisberg (pictured). In an interview with InterGame, Weisberg said that while there are comparatively few photo booth manufacturers in the West, Asia has a number of them.

“The Asian market is culturally different than the rest of the world. Their photo booths have been tested in the UK but were rejected by the consumer, so none exist in our market, not do we expect them to resurface.

“On the flip side, we are in the process of designing a photo booth specifically for the Asian market. We are excited about this new venture and expect to infiltrate that market in the first quarter of 2022.”
