Apple Industries has created a new company division called Print Budii, which is dedicated to digital photo printing via self-service kiosks.
The first product from the new division, the Print Budii Model A Kiosk, will be revealed at the IAAPA show this week, with the dedicated free Print Budii app available to download from Google Play and iTunes.
The Print Budii Model A is an app-powered self-service printing kiosk. Using the app, customers can select photos from their phone gallery or social media accounts to customise, transfer and instantly print them. No cash is required, as payment is made through the app.
The kiosk is designed to be easy to install, plugging into any standard outlet. Print Budii owners can add their own localised content, including promotional overlays. This option aims to help partners raise brand awareness on social media as customers can share their customised photo on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat or Twitter.
