Making its debut at the IAAPA show this week is a large-scale VR platform, Another World, from Austria, among many VR attractions that have dominated the new technologies at the exhibition.
Another World is a high-technology start-up company with 10x10m and 16x18m arenas with the highest capacity on the market, eight to 16 simultaneous players in free-roam sessions. The company has used the talents of its art director’s 10 years of film directing and AAA-game development to create its experiences.
The system has already been in use in its home country and has served 22,000 players over the past year. It expects to launch in North America in 2020.
