Superbowl UK has announced plans to open its seventh family entertainment centre next year.
The new 18,000sq.ft venue is to be developed at the Friars Walk retail and leisure complex in Newport, Wales, which opens this week.
Featuring 12 lanes of bowling, the centre will also include laser tag and softplay area, the South Wales Argus reports.
“It’s with great pleasure to announce our seventh family entertainment centre opening in spring 2016,” said Kate Quaintance-Blackford, director of Superbowl UK. “Superbowl UK Newport will be our third venue within the south Wales area.
“With the great success of Superbowl UK Cardiff situated within Stadium Plaza and Superbowl UK Merthyr at Merthyr Tydfil Leisure Village, we are excited to be going in Friars Walk and bringing something new to the community of Newport.”
Superbowl UK’s other FECs are located in Hull, Great Yarmouth, Macclesfield and Widnes.
