US-based manufacturer Amusement Products attended this year’s Kart Expo in Michigan, US, and showcased its Model E electric go-kart.

During the expo, attendees were able to test the go-karts on display in real race conditions. According to Amusement Products, its Model E was set apart by its superior cornering, acceleration and handling.

Jordan Munsters, founder of High Caliber Karting and host of the event, later test-drove the Model E and said: “You’ve made America proud.”

The Model E is built with Amusement Products’ Thundervolt operating system and a more durable frame, as well as advanced features, such as interactive LED lighting.

“We’ve spent over a decade perfecting this design,” said Dutch Magrath, president of Amusement Products. “To see it not only compete but lead the pack on a global stage is a proud moment for our entire team.”
